Reiki --
The Healing Touch

The Japanese kanji for Reiki Tensyo style
Spiritually Guided Life Energy -- Reiki [pronounced ray-key] is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 1900s, Reiki is administered by laying on hands. However, it is not necessary to actually
touch clients. Techniques such as this have been practiced for thousands of years. Reiki is a very simple, yet powerful technique that can be easily learned by anyone. The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words Rei and Ki. Rei is the upper character and Ki is the lower character.
